What Is a Chip Repair?
Your car’s windshield chip can crack at any given time. An increase in pressure or temperature change can turn the chip into a crack without notice, including while you are driving your car.
Chip repairs prevent further cracking, saving you the cost of a new windshield. It may disguise or hide the damage.
Mr. Chip uses the most advanced windshield repair injector in the world. Our injectors create a vacuum that pulls the air from the crack. Then a small amount of clear resin is injected into the chip, crack or star. The resin is then cured using ultraviolet light. The pit is polished to give the very best finish.
